Mike Kohonoski is an ipCG Senior Advisor, having an extensive background in innovation and entrepreneurial activities for both large and early-stage companies.
He most recently served as President and CEO of Privaris, Inc. where he successfully sold its seminal identity verification IP portfolio to Apple. Previously, he co-founded and served as President of netgenshopper, an online sales lead generation business effecting a merger with its largest competitor, Respond. Other positions held by Mr. Kohonoski include Chief Operating Officer for Authentica Security Technologies, a security software firm specializing in Information Rights Management (IRM) that was acquired by EMC in February of 2006, and President and CEO of The Guild Corporation, a technical services firm that was acquired by SystemOne, Inc. in 1988
He brings proven experience in IP Generation and Monetization, Operations, Finance, Sales & Marketing, web-based B2B and B2C business models, and a broad range of technology fluency to include systems engineering, software and hardware development, communications, security, IoT, healthcare applications, smart phones, and custom IC’s.
Mr. Kohonoski holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University.
